The New York State Equal Rights Heritage Center and Harriet Tubman National Historical Park, both of Auburn, NY, are pleased to present, Professor Edward E. Baptist, of Cornell University, speaking about his book, The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery and the Making of American Capitalism.

Prof. Baptist will focus on the experience of the slave trades and forced migrations that drove expansion, the systems of labor that emerged, the economic and political and cultural consequences for women and men and children.
